We know somebody, and we won't say who, who comes home tired after work. Her dog wants to play, but she wants to sit, so she gives her pet a huge dog biscuit and hopes it will keep him busy. Frustrated, he gnaws it all night, dribbling crumbs throughout the house resentfully. What would be much more fun for both would be 20 minutes of fetch or tug, maybe a short, brisk walk. Bored or tired owners make for heavy pets.
